這是《爆炸貓》的第一個擴充包。此擴充不僅讓遊戲支援最多6位玩家，還新增了20張全新卡片。其中一張是「內爆貓」，它面朝上放置在牌庫中，抽到時會導致無可避免的爆炸。你無法拆除「內爆貓」。此外，遊戲還附帶一個真人尺寸的「羞恥之錐」回合指示器。
非英文版本的《內爆貓》與英文版本的《爆炸貓》及擴充包不相容。
The Imploding Kittens cards add some genuinely chaotic twists, and the bigger hand limit keeps things tense instead of dragging. Playing with six people is way better than four, though you'll want the base game handy since this is useless on its own.
The extra player cards finally let our whole group join in without sitting out, and the new imploding kitten adds a fun twist that keeps everyone on edge. Setup was a breeze once we shuffled the new cards into the original deck.
We’ve played this expansion three nights in a row now, and the new cards add so much chaos that the base game feels incomplete without it. Being able to bump the player count to six is perfect for our bigger group, and the extra deck shuffles in seamlessly.
