Exploding Kittens: NSFW Edition is een zeer strategische, door katten aangedreven versie van Russisch Roulette met kunst die veel te verschrikkelijk/ongelooflijk is om in een kindvriendelijke versie op te nemen. Spelers trekken kaarten totdat iemand een Exploding Kitten trekt, waarna ze ontploffen en uit het spel zijn. Om ontploffing te voorkomen, kunnen ze de kitten ontmantelen met een krat of via varkensrug, OF krachtige actiekaarten gebruiken om de Exploding Kitten te verplaatsen of te ontwijken. Verraad je vrienden. Probeer niet te ontploffen. De laatste overlevende speler wint.

The illustrations are gloriously twisted and the card art alone had us cracking up before we even shuffled. It’s basically Russian Roulette but with tactical plays, and the NSFW jokes kept the whole table howling for three straight rounds.

The artwork is gloriously offensive and the strategy actually runs deeper than you'd expect for a card game this silly. We've played three rounds already and nobody's gotten tired of the exploding kitten tension yet.
