My kids are 6 and 9 and they actually play this without me nagging them, which never happens with board games. The whole "whoever flips the higher card keeps both" rule is easy enough that my youngest caught on after one round, and the goalie theme makes them giggle every time.
My kids beg to play this every single night now, and honestly I don't mind since it gets them moving instead of staring at screens. The silly twist on War makes even losing feel hilarious, and the card-flipping chaos had our whole family laughing within minutes.
My kids beg to play this every night — the card-flipping action gets them literally jumping off the couch. It’s such a simple twist on War, but the whole family ends up laughing and moving around way more than I expected.
