『Poetry for Neanderthals』は、家族みんなで楽しめるパーティーゲーム。チームメイトに言葉やフレーズを当ててもらって、ポイントを獲得しよう。
ただし、ヒントを出すときに使えるのは一音節の言葉だけ。もし二音節以上の言葉を使ったら、相手チームに2フィートの空気入れクラブで叩かれちゃう。

Played this with my in-laws and my husband lost it when he had to describe "elephant" without using two syllables. The inflatable stick is the best part, honestly, because everyone flinches before they even mess up. Simple enough for my 9-year-old niece to play too.
The stick is a stroke of genius—my brother got clobbered twice trying to sneak in a sneaky multisyllable word and we all lost it. Simple rules, fast rounds, and it’s genuinely funny whether you're six or sixty.
The rule about getting bonked with the inflatable stick never gets old, and the guessing rounds fly by even with non-word nerds. Only gripe is that the cards run out quicker than I’d like for a big group night, but we just shuffled and went again.
